THE GARDENER'S ROOM
Guests access the The Gardener's Room through a private exterior entrance found at the end of a charming formal garden that is exclusively for their own use. The garden is given structure by a dry stone wall and hedges of box and yew. A large bluestone patio is furnished with tables and chairs for enjoying the sun and the fragrant pollinator friendly perennial flowers or reading one of the many books on gardening at your disposal in the room.
The suite is our homage to the Arts and Crafts Style. Decorated with period furniture, including a Gustav Stickley oak cabinet filled with Fulper art pottery, this room is also furnished with a queen size mission style bed, an antique armoire and a writing table. A cozy reading alcove is illuminated by a stunning circa 1900 stained glass window by noted artisan Alfred Child (1875-1939) after a Pre-Raphaelite design after the great English artist Walter Crane (1845-1915)
The en suite bath features a heated marble floor and glass enclosed shower.

This room can be combined with the neighboring Artist's Room to accommodate larger parties.
